Geoff Guilfoy
Geoff helps CEOs and their executive teams improve their strategic and business focus.
Specialty areas: leadership coaching, managing change initiatives, teaching organizations and teams how to be more effective, and business process improvement that is essential to organizational success.
Geoff has been a management consultant since 1995, having consulted with numerous private sector, government, and nonprofit clients. Prior to founding Lumen Leaders℠ LLC in 2012, Geoff established and was the Partner in charge of the management consulting group at a regional CPA and business consulting firm.
Geoff has an MBA from Willamette University and a Bachelor of Science degree from San Jose State University. For over 28 years he was an Executive Professor at Willamette University’s Atkinson Graduate School of Management and taught courses in management consulting, nonprofit management, and government. Geoff serves on the Board of Directors of Medical Teams International, a nonprofit organization that provides life-saving medical care for people in crisis around the world.
Yvonne Deckard
Yvonne helps organizations and individuals identify and address barriers to their success and lead change initiatives.
As an outside consultant, she is called in to share her expertise in organizational leadership and strategic development. Prior to her affiliation with Lumen Leaders℠ LLC, Yvonne founded YLD Consulting, and served for more than 13 years as the Director of Human Resources for the City of Portland. She led a major reorganization, building a nimble, responsive and effective corporate client-based human resources system. Her leadership and vision was instrumental in developing and implementing an organization wide equity and diversity program. Yvonne successfully uses a variety of negotiating and problem solving approaches to guide groups from conflicting positions to mutual agreement, and provides individualized coaching for executives and senior-level management.
